Congratulations to Paul Dietrich on his retirement.  We’ll be celebrating Paul’s retirement Friday, December 10th 2010 at The Bubbler on Howell Ave.

Tomorrow, August 31st 2010 is the last day to apply for the bonus year toward either service or age. If you don’t declare your intent to retire in 2010 by tomorrow you will lose the bonus year. Also, just because you declare your intent to retire doesn’t mean that you must retire, you can back out.

AFSCME Local 952′s summer is over, our next regular membership meeting is September 9th at 7:00pm, executive board meets a half an hour earlier.  If you were an elected or appointed officer and have not taken an oath please make it to this meeting to do so.  There has been a lot going on this summer with changes to the Howard Ave. water quality laboratory schedule being the biggest issue.

Dominic’s long service to the Milwaukee Water Works comes to an end. He’ll be retiring after nearly 35 years of service this Sunday. Congratulations to Dominic and best wishes for his future.

Linnwood SWTPOIC Mike Mollan is retiring very soon.  Ahead of the holiday rush and family commitments we are toasting his life after the City this Saturday, November 14th at 7:00pm at the Bubbler.  The Bubbler is located at 3158 S. Howell Ave, a bit south of Oklahoma Ave. on the south side.
