AFSCMELocal952.org is designed with WordPress to allow a richer user experience. The interactive design allows users to comment on posts and news from other web sites to display here. To receive updates from this site four subscription options are available.
First is RSS, a simple “live bookmark” form of syndication. A new folder will be created in your internet browser bookmarks that updates itself with new posts. Second is Feedburner e-mail, an e-mail will arrive in your inbox every day that there is a new post to the site. Feedburner is run by Google and your email address is stored safely on their servers. Third is Twitter, the “micro blogging” site. Any time a new article is posted the title is tweeted along with a link. Finally is Facebook, the worlds largest social networking site. Become a fan of our Facebook page and new posts will arrive in your Facebook news feed.
Older posts are now also easier to find, WordPress features a search function to make finding articles easier. Additionally this site uses a Tag Cloud. The larger a word in the cloud, the more often it has been used as a tag. Click on a tag to see all related articles.
Image Silo
Image Silo is a service provided by Data Store. The site contains all our Union files and is available to members at any time. For log in information contact Jason Otto. Image Silo requires you to install the Paper Vision software to view files and only works with Microsoft Internet Explorer. Paper Vision can be installed easily the first time you attempt to open a file, follow the prompts to download and install.
